Students and teachers at Payton have the opportunity to connect with local, national, and international museums, universities, hospitals and K-12 classrooms.
The Distance Learning Center at Payton is a state-of-the-art facility with videoconferencing equipment which can support multiple simultaneous local and international connections. This unique capability allows Payton to provide its students with a window to the world without ever leaving the classroom. Highlights from the past four years include two programs with Iraqi students, daily Latin classes taught from Payton to students at Von Steuben High School, and multiple connections with Morocco which culminated in a foreign exchange program. |
